Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
1. Introduction
PeakIntent ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our lead generation services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
- Contact information (name, email address, phone number)
- Business information (company name, service area, services offered)
- Account credentials
- Payment information
- Communications you send to us
We automatically collect certain information when you use our services:
- Device and browser information
- IP address and location data
- Usage data and analytics
- Session recordings (see section 3)
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies
3. Analytics and Session Recording
We use a self-hosted instance of Umami Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site so we can improve the lead-generation experience. Data is stored on infrastructure we control and is not shared with third-party analytics processors. Umami does not set cookies for basic analytics by default.
What we collect through analytics:
- Pageviews, referrers, country/region (derived from IP, not stored long-term), device type, and browser
- Custom events that signal intent or progress (for example: starting our quote wizard, advancing between wizard steps, clicking calls-to-action, expanding FAQs, scrolling through blog posts, or submitting our contact form)
- A persistent random visitor identifier stored in your browser's localStorage (key
pi_visitor_id) so we can connect repeat visits to the same session history
Session recording: We also capture session recordings using Umami's session-replay feature. Recordings capture page navigations, mouse movements, scrolling, and clicks so we can diagnose user-experience issues and understand drop-off points. Recordings are configured with moderate input masking — text typed into form fields, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and business details, is masked before the recording is stored. Individual recordings are capped at five minutes and are sampled at our chosen rate.
Opting out: You can disable Umami analytics and session recording in your browser by setting the localStorage value umami.disabled to 1 on this domain, or by using a privacy extension that blocks the script source umami-analytics.basg.envzy.com. You may also clear the pi_visitor_id value at any time; a new one will be issued on your next visit.
We retain analytics events and session recordings only as long as they are useful for product and conversion analysis, and we do not sell or share this data with advertising networks.
